Answering the call!

I am one of 389 artists contributing to this project working to bring attention and support to the mass extinction of birds due to the climate crisis. I was assigned the Eastern Towhee - a bird I have never seen even though they were once in my area of Eastern Pennsylvania. Their song is noted as " Drink-Your-Tea" so that inspired the idea for this image! I used words that I would attribute to the Towhee as a totem spirit to get started. They are loyal, resourceful, protective, brave and solitary.
